‘There’s No Such Thing as An Ethical Canvasser,’ is an audio documentary currently in production. It is a critical examination of ethics and questionable practices by third-party fundraising companies in Canada & The United States (and the non-profits that fund their businesses) It’s a controversial look at what exactly happens to your donation dollars when you sign up with a canvasser on the street or at your door (where the money actually goes, cent by cent) and the specific finances surrounding the entire industry. By doing so, it turns a greater eye to the non-profits themselves, and examines the finances of specific major non-profits, and reveals some startling truths about just what exactly is being funded. We’ll be speaking with canvassers, executives, workers in the field, economists, and reveal some surprising truths previously  hidden from public examination.
